How to Read the Bible in a Year
October is the best time to figure out your plan for reading scripture in 2023! Here is what I have learned over the past few years about reading the Bible in a year. It's not easy, but it's worth it. It grows your faith. It begins to transform you from the inside out.

Worship and People
Jason fills you in on what has been going on behind the scenes at his church. In the process, he discovers just how valuable it is to know and love the people that are in your church. Church work is not easy, and sometimes it doesn't even look like what we assume "church work" is supposed to involve. If that has been your story, please reach out and let Jason know how he can be a voice in the midst of your questions.

Christian reacts to metaverse
- Facebook is smart and they know something is missing
- Isolation is a con man’s and not a good one
- Facebook is capitalizing on peoples feelings of isolation
- Promising human connection through digital platform - it won’t work
- Communication is both verbal and nonverbal
- Telling people it’s a substitute for in person integration will make people think that they are the problem
- Metaverse is not the answer to isolation - Christian community is the answer
Take someone with an ok church community experience into the spectacular church community experience that God intended for every believer
Kingdom-Minded Goal Setting [Season 2, Episode 6]
This week, we are talking about GOALS and I confess... I am a bit of a goal nerd. If you want more advice on becoming a goal nerd like me, I would recommend pretty much any of the books by Jon Acuff. Specifically the book, Soundtracks helped me to get out of my goal-less funk in 2020. This is an affiliate link, so if you decide that you would like to read this book, you can also help support my channel.

How to Write Worship Music [Season 2, Episode 4]
If you have ever wanted to expand your ministry to include the art of songwriting, here is where I would start! This system has been incredibly helpful to me as a songwriter. It is a "No inspiration required" technique. If you would really like to jumpstart your songwriting, check out Krissy Nordhoff's website for resources including her book, Writing Worship

Songs and Style Continued
There is a lot that goes into choosing songs on a weekly basis for your congregation. Do you know the demographics of your church? How does knowing change your song selection? How often should you introduce new songs? Do you have a system for introducing songs? There is a lot that goes into choosing songs on a weekly basis for your congregation. Join Jason as he talks through these issues and gives you a framework for how he approaches song selection.
Songs and Style
Picking music for your congregation is a huge part of being a worship leader. Figuring out solid strategies for how to select songs and how to make them sound like your church can be key in your ability to motivate congregational involvement. Today we will talk about Jason's philosophy when he approaches song selection and style. I hope that you will learn from his mistakes, and find some tools to help you on your journey serving your church.

Leadership is a worship buzzword. Here is a little bit of philosophy, scripture, and a challenge for you to make you a better leader every week.
