Live OUT LOUD

Live OUT LOUD

By Raelin Saindon

Live OUT LOUD is a space to be challenged in our thinking, mindset and daily routine.

Silence and small living simply won't do any longer in our world, and it's time for each of us to come out of the shadows and step into the light that living out loud offers.

I explore mindset, energy, healing, social issues; all with a spiritual lens inviting you to think, act and BE out loud.

I'll also be bringing on guests who are trailblazers, change-makers, and revolutionaries that have decided it was time for them to turn up the volume, step forward and Live OUT LOUD.

Today's guest and my friend, Dr. Sarah Williams shares her heart and experiences as a woman, daughter, mother and Dr. of mental health with us on these times we are facing currently.  Being Black adds a depth of perspective to each role Dr. Sarah navigates, which has sharpened her focus and empowered her voice to share with what she calls, "Emotional Assertiveness."

Dr. Sarah shares authentically, powerfully and openly about her childhood experiences with racism, having to silence her own rage and upset in order to maintain educational and professional opportunities. She shares with us the tacit and very real considerations she has as a mother of a Black teenage son and daughter- and fears for their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual safety and health.

Our conversation gets real and raw immediately, as Dr. Sarah brings us face-to-face with the truth that BIPOC faces acutely different experiences and standards of treatment, access, and interpretation of what it is to be human; and it isn't the white ideal.

We also dive into mental health, mindfulness, meditation and how important it is to care for ourselves with intention; especially now.

Her final word?

"Love yourself."

Conversations on Race, Unlearning, and becoming an Antiracist- with Shari Alyse

Conversations on Race, Unlearning, and becoming an Antiracist- with Shari Alyse

My guest today is a dear friend, Soul Sister, Mentor, Inspiration, and 'Joy Magnet,' Shari Alyse.

Shari is a Best-selling Author of "Love Yourself Happy," an International Motivational Speaker and Self-love Coach. Her deep commitment to others is motivated by her own journey through childhood traumas and sexual abuse. She has spent her life learning how to love herself completely, and now helps women to discover their joy by reconnecting them back to themselves through the practice of self-love.

Shari has been featured on numerous media outlets, including commercials and television. She currently hosts her own show, "Story Time with Shari," and has inspired thousands through her daily video series, "Hiking with Shari."

Shari & I co-facilitate a FB group based upon the book by Robin DiAngelo, "White Fragility," and in our episode, we discuss the journey each of us has taken in our own unlearning process as white women in a culture designed to protect "whiteness" and its dominance.  Our conversation is raw, real, and transparent in sharing what we are recognizing and realizing; much of it for the first time.

Unlearn right along with us, and if you'd like to join our group, you can connect with it here: www.facebook.com/groups/1415603208624205

As a business success strategist, Jamal is known for his ability to plan, create, and develop leaders that can execute their vision. Meaning out of Disruption- Spiritual responses to Racism & Self-reflection

Meaning out of Disruption- Spiritual responses to Racism & Self-reflection

Being a Spiritual Leader, Teacher, and Advocate I am duty-bound to actively explore the contrasts that live within myself and the Spiritual community.

As a community that values positivity, peace, and collective unity, we often default or BYPASS the contrasts that our human experiences offer. This is a danger and area of incomplete and unwise thinking and acting that calls for honest and truthful exposure. Spiritual bypassing creates harm, resentment, and is a place that offers further harm especially to those traumas that run deep with individuals and the collective as a whole.

The very real and continued traumas that BIPOC and other minorities experience daily in their lives and communities cannot be swept away with niceties and flip remarks of, "love, light, peace and unity,"  while at the same time advocating for change and "love of all human beings."

It is time for us as leaders and members of the space we promote as "safe," "compassionate," "welcoming," and "inclusive," to live honestly with ourselves and with our Brothers & Sisters in communities of color, ethnicity, and culture.

Self-examination of our own biases, and the willingness to listen and witness the lived experiences of Brothers & Sisters without diminishing, rationalizing or reducing them for our own comfort, is spiritualism with integrity. If we seek true healing, it must occur through the honest naming of offenses conscious or not; before any repair can begin.

We owe that to ourselves, those around us, and The Collective.

What puzzle are you putting togther?

What puzzle are you putting togther?

We are all looking to make sense of the pieces of our lives, and sometimes we try to force, re-shape or refuse to see how it all fits. What I've been shown is that for most of us our "puzzles" were begun without a picture to reference, and from the cardboard side up. How can we see anything this way, much less understand what the picture wishes to be?

I have a saying, "Context informs content," and it really explains this dynamic.

Our puzzles have been up-ended and flipped over. We are beginning to see there's always been a picture imprinted on the pieces; now we can clearly put them together.

May this speak to and empower you to widen your view.

Empaths, Sensitives & #saymyname

Empaths, Sensitives & #saymyname

Today's episode speaks to those of you who may identify as Empathic or Highly Sensitive spiritually and energetically speaking.

Often these roles can become blurred and we can overstep their design and purposed intent in our lives and in our soul's lessons.

I am also bring these roles into focus as we consider the world's events; particularly that of Racism and how we can navigate that in our human experience with Spiritual perspective and influence.

I've added a clip at the end that is powerful, and enables us to honor those Souls whose lives were brutally stolen from them through brutality and violence, with the honor given to the many whose names are known to their Creator.

Thank you for listening, and may this challenge you through self-examination to LIVE OUT LOUD.
