Welcome back to the show! It's been over a year since the last episode, I'm sorry! However, I realized it's the 25th anniversary of one of my favorite albums ever - Green Day's Nimrod! Welcome to the 2nd part of my interview with my old friends South Florida band Visionary! The second half of their story, plus just a little bit of us catching up. We recorded this just after 4th of July 2020, I released Part 1 Black Friday 2020, and now the conclusion is here on Valentine's Day 2021. I really know how to build suspense. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

On this episode I reunite some good friends of mine, members of the South Florida band VISIONARY! I had the pleasure of reuniting and speaking with 3/5 of Visionary, my friends and the band that gave me my start playing live. We cover the band's formation, successes, and some candid stories from their time playing the clubs of South Florida. Check it out!

It's a new record for me, 2 episodes in one year! Ok I've definitely done more than 2 in a year before, but not recently. This is the final episode in my "making of series". In this episode, My wife Stefanie and I play "Broken Hearted and the Angel's Wings" in its entirety and discuss the origins of the songs, reactions to them, and the way they were recorded. Happy Thanksgiving! This is the latest in my "making of" series. This  time, I'm discussing the making of my 3rd album NEVER SAY DIE. I give  you a glimpse into some of the stories behind the songs and also the way  that I wrote and recorded them. There are also some anecdotes about  some of my musician friends. How does Mike Caldarera fit in to one of  the live performances of one of these songs? Were AJ and Karl from  Groovenics and Suicide City slated to be guests on this album? Welcome to the 1st episode of 2015! In this episode I play my second  album "Tales from Tourmaline" in its entirety and discuss the stories  and experiences behind each song. Unfortunately I could not access the  original recordings so I had to go with the 2nd version of this album,  which in my opinion is sub par to the original. However, some of you may  not have heard both versions or may have never heard either one. In  this case, you will get an opportunity to hear some different recordings  from my catalog. It's been forever but I'm back! Sorry for the absence, I hope you're as  excited for this return as I am. For the next five episodes I am going  to give you a behind the scenes all access pass into the making of my  five albums. We  begin with my first album "McLeod". On this episode I  play the album in its entirety and discuss each song one by one. I  answer questions such as "Where did the title McLeod come from" and  explain the meanings behind the songs. All of this is leading up to my  retrospective album which will feature 12 songs from each of my albums  re recorded in full studio quality. This week I continue my interview with my good friend Brian Russell.  It's been a while in between episodes, I hope you haven't been missing  the show too much. I'll try to update more frequently going forward. If  you like what you hear, please spread the word!

On this episode I interview my good friend Brian Russell. Brian and I  are a couple of movie buffs who met while working at a movie theater and  have been friends ever since. Not only are we both movie buffs, but  Brian is an actor. On this episode, we discuss movies, Brian's acting  career, a possible collaboration on script writing, and catch up a  little in general. Under the Radar is back from Hiatus and we have a special guest this  week...ADAM THE WOO! I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Adam  before the holiday break. Adam goes on adventures and posts them on  YouTube. I originally stumbled upon his channel when I saw a video he  had posted of him exploring the abandoned River Country water park at  Walt Disney World. He had several other Orlando area theme park videos,  and after I watched them I was hooked. It was cool to see all of the  original content that he created and I was even inspired to create some  new content of my own. I just didn't know in what form. Fast forward a  year or two, and I now have this podcast, and Adam as part of the  inspiration for it. Adam was coming through Gainesville, so I was able  to interview him. It was another opportunity for me to continue the  journey and follow my goals.  We hang out, he answers questions, and we  talk about Back to the Future. What's not to like? This episode was  recorded outside of a Starbucks, so there is a lot of background noise  but the interview is a good one. On this edition of Under The Radar with Travis McLeod I interview my  friend Joey Destefano. Joey is a musician, and my first songwriting  partner. In high school, we formed several bands together, most notable  We're a Band and Horny Dog. After that, Joey went on to join Visionary,  and is currently playing in South Florida Bands The Toilets and I Am The  Machine. We catch up and discuss his former and current musical  pursuits and also listen to some tracks from The Toilets, Visionary,  Oddball (Which is the name Joey released a hip hop mixtape under) and  even a classic jam between Joey and I. You don't want to miss this  episode!

In Episode 5 we pick up where we left off in the interview with AJ  Marchetta from last week. I also play some tracks from Groovenics,  Suicide City, Skeleton Division, and a solo track from AJ. For some  reason towards the end of the episode my mic level is very low. I tried  to fix it but I couldn't so I apologize for that. I don't think I was  saying anything too important to the story. This week on the show I interview my good friend AJ Marchetta. AJ was  the guitarist in Groovenics and Suicide City, and is now currently  playing with Skeleton Division. We talk about how he got started in  music, the tail end of The Groovenics when he joined, the beginning  through the end of Suicide City, and what he's up to now. There were so  many great rock stories that I couldn't fit them all into one episode,  so this is going to be part 1 of our first 2 part episode. Next week  I'll finish up the interview and include some tracks from Groovenics,  Suicide City, Skeleton Division, and a solo track from AJ. On Episode 3 of Under the Radar with Travis McLeod, I am the guest. We  are introduced to my lovely wife who interviews me about my musical and  creative endeavors in her first appearance on the show. She is going to  be an occasional co host, so keep an eye out for her in future episodes.  Also discussed in this episode are boy bands, parenting, and our life  together.

On Episode 2 of Under the Radar with Travis McLeod I interview Stephanie  Walsh. Stephanie Walsh is the host of Side B Radio, an internet radio  show on live365.com. I have been friends with Stephanie for many years,  and have watched her pursue her dreams of being a radio personality over  the past few years. On this episode we talk about her start in radio,  some of the things she has accomplished since starting her show, and  some of her goals for the future.

Welcome to the first episode of Under The Radar with Travis McLeod. My  first guest on the show is Jaie Tang. Jaie, among other things, was the  drummer for South Florida band Visionary in the early 2000s. On this  episode we discuss Jaie's start in music, his experiences drumming for  Visionary, and what he's been up to since Visionary disbanded.
