I have not read the manual and I don't have the time to bother right now but I did actually get a few things done and get at least 3 or so badges so for a first timer its ok.

In this ep I demonstrate systemfault by lightsout, and all the 2mb solutions titles on offer included mine racer and haunted house.

This is the first episode on the jaredrimer network.

As mentioned this will be a suplamental podcast to the tech cast, covering mostly hardware and pc.

In this I touch on my testing with ccleaner, talk about the podcast, covid, tech in general, including a look at all the games on the no video game jam.

I am going to submit things for them but since I never got 99.9% of the games well who knows.

Fedora sucks, ciniman is unstable and luwrain does what it says.

Also knopix just doesn't work or I am doing something wrong.

Hi all, this is shades of doom again, sadly scenes don't work but most of the game is here.  Due to size limits I have had to cut my quality back to 192kbps and this is probably what will be with future episodes, this is 3 hours long.

In this podcast, we explain my misadventures and why I havn't been on.

We talk briefly about my magnet pickup coil, from got electronics on amazon then shift to reviewing and assembling the tp link uh700-720 usb hub which is less strippy than the mbeat as long as you don't mind the short but thick cable and the oversized power plug.

After that or rather during that we take my 3d recording phones from andriea electronics which I got last year but didn't do much with for a spin outside.

In this episode, we visit archlinux again.

I go through all the steps bar those that need me to edit files, and get the image basically installed.

Not booting but installed, enough so I can say good bye to arch at least for now.

I tell users why siniman and arch mate just don't want to have speech, and then how I will not be installing or using jeni os.

Right now I am the retarded blind guy, and need to read my materials and get used to the keyboards which I do own now.

Well in this second part to the cast for today anyway, I actually get dosbox in windows loaded.

Most of it is me doodling with the windows shell, getting files extracted, having battles with file explorer to show folders and trying to get things configured.

However after trying and failing with linux dosbox at least I have a dosbox that works in windows which means we can finally get into and start playing various things.

The cast and group and everything are in the cast.

This should be the last for this series at least for now as I move to do some research work in the next week or 2, followed by me rethinking exactly what I will be doing.

The casts will probably not be as fast paced as they are, my plan is to try to have 1-2 a month though I won't hold to that and if I have something to review or post on or any tech, hardware/software demos and random stuff we will see.

I have enjoyed things with their ups and downs and while this aint the end of all things its most likely the end of this arc, at least right now.

From now on I want to get some feedback going and maybe a partner or 2 to do things with me.

A small note, the last 2 eps were done with a a field recorder which has worked for what I want to do.

That doesn't mean that I won't be using virtual recorder for some stuff, but since it seems to have issues with vmware who knows.

well we finally get mate installed, descover that vmware tools is not needed and fiddle round with the interface.

Note, due to issues which we will review on the next cast to be posted immediately after this, it looks we have a working desktop environment for me to do something with.

I plan to switch either to debian command and maybe mint mate though not sure but I want to move to something easier like windows vms next.

Greetings, after long last here is an ep.

So this was going to be about installing archlinux.

It didn't happen.

The episode ends up abruptly after virtual recorder crashes, but it was basically done.

So, arch should have been easy, after all I had the guide on my side open.

But the speech was to quiet and some stuff didn't install, some stuff wouldn't execute, so I have to put it down to vmware and it not liking it.

I then tried trisquel and couldn't get it to speak at boot and thats the end.

I am going to try to install ubuntu mate and see what that does and then we see.

Note this may not be everything but the install drags on and on with me dropping keys.

Not my best effort but still it was better than ep1.

On that note, if I get mate installed that will be the end of linux distros at least for the moment.

Blindvms is open for ideas, anything virtual, emulators, games, whatever, in linux of course but in windows.

 reviews of various devices and tech will be in here, all sorts of geekyness, some tech, some not.
