Chapter 2 - It's Like, Not A Reality
Michelle and Ray get their first taste of a media rally and begin to understand the struggles of housing and place-making in Bushwick through their neighbors and local politicians. "The Night The Lights Went Out" will feature a community discussion about the impact of the blackout upon the neighborhood led by Cynthia Tobar of Cities For Profit, Not For People, music and artwork by neighbors, speakers from organizations in the community, and a concert at 8pm by I Get Wild playing Talking Heads Music.
Gates 5:30 - Discussion at 6:00 - Music at 8:00.

Chapter 1 - Possible In America
The journey begins in late 2020 on Bushwick Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. As the Charles Lindemann House is prepped for demolition, Michelle and Ray begin a course to comprehend the many forces and processes at work that determine the shape of the neighborhood and the city at large. Featuring Ricardo Nuñez, music of The Johns, Tyrone Cotton, Vision with Euphorium, and the voices of Robert Camacho, Sam of Star Demolition, Dennis Donnelly of Communities Resist, Jennifer Gutiérrez, Lynn Ellsworth of Human-Scale NYC, Dina Alfano, Hernan Pagan, Jon Knox, and Council Member Antonio Reynoso.
