This week we sit down and delve into something... surprisingly deep. The thrill of hooking up with a "straight" guy is exciting and flattering when you're 18, but the older you get, the less appealing it becomes. Matt and Aaron dive into some of their past hookup experiences to discuss how being in different stages of life can be detrimental in relationships. 

In this episode we sit down with advocate and social activist Owin Pierson to discuss his experience walking through the world as both queer and Asian-American. Since he began growing his social media following over five years ago, Owin has been heavily involved in major social movements, including attending Taiwan's celebrations for the legalization of gay marriage and (accidentally) becoming one of the faces of Instagram's guide to Stop Asian Hate. He opens up about a number of experiences that have shaped him into who he is today, and what prompted him to recently move to Hawaii. Owin also speaks on what he hopes to achieve with his platform, and how he believes we can actually enact change.

When he was five he lost both his legs due to a rare birth-condition known as sacral agenesis. That’s a wrap! Season 1 has come to a close and we’re wrapping it up with a big sappy bow. This week we're joined by the incredibly bright, talented, and charming Carson McCalley, a 24 year old Carnegie Mellon graduate who finished his first run on Broadway right before the Covid Pandemic shut down New York in March. Milton Academy is something out of a telenovela Netflix show (think Elite) - it's also where Matt went to high school. Today we're joined by the incredible Ian Malone and Sydney Adedamola, who also attended Milton before going to Tufts and USC, respectively. What begins as a trip down memory lane turns into a discussion about being part of a minority group at a traditional, elite, institution of learning.
