In this break from their usual style, Jonah and Keenon explore the ups and downs of what is arguably the most divisive and controversial season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer — Season 6. From the groundbreaking musical episode to Willow’s addiction to the dark arts to Buffy and Spike’s all-too-relatable toxic relationship, this episode covers everything Buffy fans love (and hate) about this penultimate season.

Sometimes a show comes along with a pretty rad plot, a super adorable cast, and top rankings on its network — but even still that’s not enough to keep it alive. Enter, the CW’s one-season series The Secret Circle. In this episode, Jonah covers the show that’s based on the book of the same name by The Vampire Diaries author L.J. Smith, and helmed by TVD’s producer. Why did a series about a group of powerful young witches exploring their mysterious and ancient supernatural connection fail to survive past its first season, despite having all the makings of a successful run like other CW shows of the genre? If there’s anything we’ve learned from years of television, it’s that you never send a man to do a woman’s job. Keenon takes us on a full throttle ride through the 2011 reboot series of Charlie’s Angels. Why did this show crash before it ever took off? What happens to the Slayer line when the active slayer crosses over to the dark side? Jonah and Keenon discuss as they take a look back at the season three Buffy The Vampire Slayer episode “Enemies,” which includes a fun and surprising twist.

In this second bonus episode, Jonah & Keenon rewind with two shows they both enjoyed in the early 2010s: the post-apocalyptic sci-fi series Revolution (NBC) and the dark and sexy Witches of East End (Lifetime). Also, Jonah gives an update on Messer, his emotional support dog following a very intense (and expensive) life-saving surgery.
